Series
48 is a thermistor sensing high temperature (limit) shut-down module, designed
to protect large motors or compressors in the event that there is a loss of
coolant or lubricant or excessive temperatures. The control module
de-energizes the load when the temperature exceeds a set limit. A manual reset
feature ensures that the cause of the excessive temperature is investigated
before power is re-applied
